Nacogdoches Medical Center is expanding its neurological surgery service and invites you to join an established, mission-driven practice in the heart of East Texas' Piney Woods. As part of Nacogdoches Medical Partners - a multidisciplinary network serving a 100,000-resident catchment area - you will step into a role with immediate community impact and long-term professional depth. The 161-bed facility is a Joint Commission-accredited, Grade A-rated acute care hospital with a dedicated ASC, CATH lab, and full imaging suite. This is a spine-forward opportunity (80% spine) within a health system built to support your growth.
Position Highlights
- Neurological surgery position with an 80% spine focus
- Joining an existing practice within Nacogdoches Medical Partners' established provider network
- 161-bed acute care hospital with 11-bed ICU, Level 4 Trauma Center, and Designated Primary Stroke Center
- On-site Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), MRI/CT, and CATH lab
- Hospital volume of approximately 21,000 patient days and 6,000 admissions per year
- 75 physicians on medical staff across multiple specialties
- Tenet Healthcare-owned and managed facility with system-level resources and support
- Facility holds a 'Grade A' national quality and safety ranking for six consecutive years
