Position Highlights
- Inpatient OMM consultation role serving multiple units: general pediatrics, newborn, NICU, PICU, and rehabilitation
- Provide bedside OMM evaluations and treatments for patients referred by hospitalist, intensivist, surgical, and subspecialty teams
- Address a broad scope of conditions including GI disorders, feeding difficulties, neuromuscular conditions, pain management, respiratory disorders, and post-surgical recovery
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case conferences as part of an integrated care model
- Contribute to the development and refinement of inpatient OMM protocols and referral pathways
- Opportunities for academic involvement including teaching residents, medical students, and staff on OMM indications and techniques
- Support for quality improvement, research, and leadership in pediatric OMM

- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Medical Doctor (MD) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an AOA- or ACGME-accredited residency in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or NMM/ONMM
- Board-certified or board-eligible in relevant specialty
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
- Demonstrated proficiency in OMM with pediatric inpatient populations
- DEA, BLS, and ACLS certification, or willingness to obtain
- Fellowship or advanced training in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine or Pediatric OMM preferred
- Experience in acute care or inpatient pediatric settings preferred
