Job Summary
Up to $30,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience!
Shift: Rotating
Job Type: Full Time
Hours:
Responsible for operating x-ray and ultrasound or CT scanning equipment to make images of designated portions of the body. Positions and instructs the patient for imaging exams, adjusts equipment and determines proper voltage, current and desired exposure time for each exam. Ensures all hospital mandated safety precautions are followed. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
- A.S. OR EQUIVALENT preferred
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: State of California Certification in Radiologic Technology, Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (preferred); If meeting ultrasound modality requirement, incumbent must be Board Certified or Board eligible with the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. If meeting mammography modality requirement, incumbent must have State of California Mammographic Radiologic Technology license. Healthcare Provider BLS.
