Job Summary
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit on a full-time day shift. This role is ideal for RNs with at least one year of acute care experience in a cardiac, telemetry, or stepdown setting who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit, you will provide individualized bedside care utilizing the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest quality outcomes for our cardiac patients. You will also take part in initiatives like hourly rounding and may serve in a charge nurse capacity as needed.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies
- Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans
- Supervising and delegating tasks to other members of the healthcare team
- Participating in quality and safety initiatives
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
- Basic computer proficiency
- Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior staff when needed
- Minimum Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience in Cardiac, Telemetry, CVICU, or ICU settings
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Certifications:
- Current RN license in the State of Arizona (or eligible)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - required upon completion of orientation
- Preferred Requirements
- Experience: Two or more years in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
