Applicant must be proficient in at least 2 of the following areas to qualify:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for applying specialized and professional nursing skills in caring for patients in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Dobutamine Stress Tests, CT, MRI and Transesophageal Echocardiograms/Cardioversions and Vascular Access insertions. This involves planning, administering and evaluating the nursing care of the patient. The Registered Nurse directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient, or return the patient to their prior care unit, with an optimum level of care provided.
Responsibilities
- The Registered Nurse plans, administers and evaluates the nursing care of the patient in the Cardiac Rehabilitation, Imaging, Echo Laboratory and Vascular Access.
- This position requires thorough knowledge of cardiac and critical care nursing, according to ACC, Joint Commission standards and other regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum: Associate's Degree in Nursing presented and verified.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing presented and verified.
Experience:
- Preferred experience in stepdown/critical care/PACU/ Vascular Access team
Certifications:
- Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida, American Heart Association
- BLS/ACLS
