Job Summary
Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you'll provide individualized, direct bedside care to critically ill patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and utilize your clinical judgment to lead care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing patients requiring advanced cardiac, neuro, or hemodynamic support
- Using evidence-based practice and the nursing process to develop patient care plans
- Supervising and delegating tasks to members of the healthcare team
- Participating in hourly rounding and maintaining a safe, patient-centered environment
- Taking charge responsibilities when needed
Qualifications
- Special Skills
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration
- Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
- Minimum Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU or acute care experience
- Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
- Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona
- BLS and ACLS (required per department/facility guidelines)
- Preferred Requirements
- Experience: 2 years in ICU or Cardiac Stepdown with experience in neuro/cardiac assessments and hemodynamic monitoring
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certification: Specialty certification a plus
