Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process and the benchmark standards of the National Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Association.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred
- California RN License
- BLS
- Wound and Ostomy Experience within past 6 months in an acute hospital
- Certification in Wound Care and Management or Certification in Ostomy Care and Management from a nationally recognized program upon hire. Must acquire both certifications within 6 months of being hired/transferred into the position CETN/CWOCN preferred
