Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus
Responsible for the oversight and management of the Rehabilitation Department, consisting of PT, OT and/or Speech as well as the Cardiopulmonary Department consisting of respiratory therapy and EEG services. Assesses, plans, and implements processes relating to patient evaluation and treatment, as required. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Develops and manages the operating and capital budgets; directs daily operations and performance of staff; has ability to hire, fire and discipline.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, or Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor's degree required in related field
Preferred: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's Degree in related field.
Experience:
Required: 2 years in healthcare management
Certifications:
Required: Maintain licensure, as required by State law
Physical Demands: Frequently required to lift up to 40 Pounds. Occasionally may lift greater than 40 lbs. with assistance of staff member and/or approved lifting device. Constantly required to use overall vision, reading/close up work, peripheral vision, depth perception, color perception, display dexterity through palpation skills, hear and demonstrate normal speech, talk in person, concentrate, make decisions, have public contact. Subject to normal working conditions.
