Growing together.Optum Rx is seeking a Senior Capability Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and scaling of Shop MyScript-an innovative capability delivering real-time prescription pricing transparency and pharmacy choice at the point of prescribing.
This role will operate at the center of a highly complex, cross-functional ecosystem, partnering across product, technology, clinical, operations, legal, and external vendors to deliver measurable business value and improved member outcomes.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own capability strategy and roadmap for Shop MyScript, aligning to enterprise growth and the transparent pharmacy care model
- Lead end-to-end execution across a matrixed organization with significant dependencies across internal and external stakeholders
- Manage a multi-vendor ecosystem, including:
- Contracting (SOW development, pricing structures, terms)
- Performance management (SLAs, KPIs, delivery outcomes)
- Ongoing relationship governance and optimization
- Drive capability lifecycle management (build, launch, scale, optimize), ensuring continuous improvement and expansion
- Establish and track business value metrics, including adoption, script conversion, cost savings, and client impact
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and execution challenges across technical, operational, and regulatory domains
- Serve as the capability lead and SME, providing clear, concise updates and recommendations to senior leadership

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare, PBM, and/or digital health technology vendor
- Experience in ePrescribing and/or EHR integrations
- Experience defining and executing KPI's including monthly & quarterly business reviews and presenting to internal & external stakeholders
- Experience managing external vendor relationships, including contracting and performance oversight
- Experience influencing stakeholders and driving alignment in a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives at scale
- Proven solid analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience translating insights into execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience launching or scaling Provider-facing digital health capabilities
- Experience storytelling, marketing and launching a new product
- Experience in a client facing role
- Project management experience including on time delivery of milestones
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., NCPDP, FHIR)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
