Growing together.Primary Responsibilities:
Works in collaboration with Registered Nurses to provide care to surgical patients in the OR suite. Prepares instruments for each surgical procedure and performs scrubbing duties, assisting the surgeon and ensuring proper aseptic technique throughout the case. Supports room turnover and is responsible for instrumentation decontamination and processing. Contributes to the orientation of new surgical technicians and demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles across all age groups served (Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric).
North Region Assignment:
The North Region includes Springwoods Village (SWV), Memorial Village (MV), and North Houston Campus (NHC). Float Pool team members are required to work across all three locations to meet operational and staffing needs.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited surgical technology program
- BLS
- 3+ years of surgical tech experience
- Proven mastery of advanced surgical tech skills and extensive knowledge of at least 3-5 specialty services
- Proven basic computer skills. Ability to travel between assigned ASC locations and work varied shifts as required by the float team assign
- The South Region includes Main Campus (MC), Fort Bend (FB), and Bay Area (BA). Float Pool team members are required to work across all three locations to meet operational and staffing needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience; multi-site or float experience
- CST
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 - $36.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
