Become a part of our caring communityThe clinical recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment and the end-to-end candidate lifecycle for both hourly and salaried clinical positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to source, attract, and hire qualified talent while ensuring a positive and seamless candidate experience. The recruiter handles a variety of assignments that require strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to independently determine appropriate courses of action in a fast-paced environment.
This role is part of the Variable Staffing Pool( VSP), which pays at an hourly rate.
Variable Staffing Pool Humana associates work part to full time hours based on business need.
VSPs are not eligible for associate bonuses and receive limited benefits, which are effective upon hire.
The hours for this role are generally aligned based on the associate and business task at hand.
The recruiter position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for clinical roles within home healthcare. The recruiter manages the end-to-end hiring process, including partnering with hiring managers, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and supporting onboarding to ensure seamless candidate experience.
Additionally, this role assists with employment advertising and related recruitment activities. The recruiter demonstrates an understanding of departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and how they align across the business. This position requires minimal direction, follows established guidelines and procedures, and seeks guidance when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of recruiting strategies for clinical roles, ensuring alignment with Humana's hiring goals and business needs
- Source, engage, and recruit high-potential candidates for clinical positions within home healthcare
- Screen resumes, coordinate assessments (e.g., HireVue), and manage top-of-funnel candidate activity
- Track and report on recruiting metrics, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and successes
- Leverage market insights to advise hiring managers on potential bottlenecks and develop strategies to positively influence candidate decisions
Use your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recruiting years of experience in recruiting
- 5+ years of administrative and/or recruiting support experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently source and attract qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and internal databases
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and recruitment workflows
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with solid project management, customer service, and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
- Understanding of recruitment best practices and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to engage candidates and collaborate effectively with team members at all levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Located within the Eastern or Central Time Zone
- Experience working in a Fortune 500 organization or a highly matrixed environment
- Proficiency with recruiting tools and platforms such as Workday, HireVue, LinkedIn, Indeed, Phenom
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$71,100 - $97,800 per year
